- Danish startup Pleo, which offers smart company cards that automate expense reports, raises $150M Series C at a $1.7B valuation
- Juni, a neobank catering to e-commerce and online marketing companies, raises $21.5M Series A co-led by partners from DST Global and Felix Capital
- Controversial Israeli facial recognition startup AnyVision raises $235M Series C co-led by SoftBank’s Vision Fund 2 and Eldridge Industries
- Osso VR, which uses VR simulations to train doctors and other medical professionals, raises $27M led by GSR Ventures
- Outbrain, which filed for an IPO last week, raises $200M from Boston-based hedge fund Baupost Group
- Evernote founder’s Mmhmm, a video service that works with Zoom, Teams, and Webex and can add effects to calls, raises $100M led by SoftBank’s Vision Fund
- Skedulo, a workforce management and scheduling service for “deskless” mobile employees, raises $75M Series C led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2
- Utah-based Entrata, which develops property management software, raises $507M led by Silver Lake and others, its first raise in its 18-year history
- Massachusetts-based Silk, which builds tools to improve database performance, raises $55M led by S Capital, bringing its total raised to $294M+
- Unit21, which helps businesses monitor fraudulent activities via APIs and a dashboard, raises $34M Series B led by Tiger Global at a $300M valuation
- r2c, which is developing SaaS tools based on the Semgrep open source project, raises $27M Series B led by Felicis
- Dutch challenger bank Bunq raises $228M Series A led by Pollen Street Capital at a $1.9B valuation; Series A is the largest ever for a European fintech company
- Indian startup Teachmint, which lets teachers create their own virtual classes using its mobile app and video infrastructure, raises $20M led by Learn Capital
- French startup Younited Credit, which takes a data driven, AI-based approach to offering credit, raises $170M led by Goldman Sachs
- Clearco, which provides non-dilutive, revenue-based financing to internet startups, raises $215M Series C extension from SoftBank Vision Fund 2
- Indian social commerce startup DealShare raises $144M Series D led by Tiger Global at a $455M post-money valuation
- Intellimize, which uses AI to optimize websites to help marketers drive conversions, raises $30M Series B led by Cobalt Capital
- Xiaomi will raise around $1.2B via a debt issuance; the money could go toward Xiaomi’s international push as well as new areas like electric vehicles
- Collaborative document startup Coda raises $100M Series D at a valuation of $1.4B, more than double its valuation from 2020
- Instawork, a marketplace that connects hourly workers with employers, raises $60M Series C led by Craft Ventures, bringing its total raised to $100M
- Popshop Live, whose app lets sellers create live shopping shows to sell their products, raises Series A at $100M valuation; source: amount raised is ~$20M
- Indian ride hailing firm Ola raises $500M from Temasek, an affiliate of Warburg Pincus, and co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal, nearly two years since its last raise
- South Korean online grocery delivery startup Kurly raises $200M Series F led by existing investors at $2.2B valuation, more than doubling its May 2020 valuation
- Didomi, which helps companies manage user consent to run analytics and other digital marketing initiatives, raises $40M Series B, brings total raised to $46M
- Indian used car marketplace Spinny raises $100M+ Series D led by Tiger Global, bringing its total raised to $220M+
- Otter, a childcare marketplace that matches parents and prospective caregivers, raises $23M Series A led by Sequoia Capital
- Cloud security company Netskope raises $300M led by ICONIQ Growth, at a valuation of $7.5B, up from a valuation of $3B in 2020
- Thrive Global, which offers an AI-powered behavior change platform to improve employee well-being, raises $80M Series C led by Kleiner Perkins and Owl Ventures
- Ireland-based Teamwork, which creates business management SaaS applications, raises $70M, its first-ever external funding since its founding in 2007
- OnBoard, which provides cloud-based software to help companies digitize boardroom management, has raised a $100M growth investment from PE firm JMI Equity
